Job Summary
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all electrical systems by completing preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns using manuals and schematic diagrams. Support the installation of new production lines, carry out repairs with hand tools and test equipment, and program PLCs and frequency drives. Complete work orders in the CMMS and prepare maintenance reports to analyze trends and recommend improvements. Maintain the site ESA logbook and adhere to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, ISO, and HACCP requirements. This role is based in our Brampton location and requires a Certified Licensed Industrial Electrical/Electronics technician (442A) with at least one year of manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Licensed Industrial Electrical/Electronics technician - 442A
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PLC's, wiring, legislated standards
- Troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the paper and packaging industry would be an asset
