Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution, lighting, motors, controls, and equipment powering GM's vehicle production and operations. Troubleshoot complex issues on production lines by reading blueprints and schematics, while performing preventive maintenance and strictly adhering to safety standards including NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout protocols. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure plants run safely, reliably, and efficiently. This skilled labor role supports automotive manufacturing and service facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Electrician
- Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution, lighting, motors, controls, and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues on production lines
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of and ability to perform preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of and ability to strictly follow safety standards, including NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout
