Job Summary
Licensed Electrician role in Cargill’s fort-like Fort Morgan, CO facility within the protein and salt business. Responsibilities include executing automation solutions for plant processes, designing and implementing control strategies, overseeing electrical and instrumentation functions for projects, and providing training for completed projects. Requires PLC/HMI/Controls programming, ability to read electrical schematics, and strong communication. 6-day work week; 2nd and 3rd shifts. Includes $28.75/hour and a $7,000 sign-on bonus; no relocation reimbursement. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; minimum age 18. Health benefits, 401(k), and other matching programs are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a Visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages
- Ability to update and troubleshoot a range of electrical or instrumentation systems
- Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team or individual environment and be a self-starter
- Ability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
