Job Summary
Residential electrical technician role for a 1099 contractor network. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of electrical systems in homes, diagnosing issues, following local safety regulations, and updating job progress through a mobile work-order portal. Maintain quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, manage work orders and timelines within local coverage areas, and communicate effectively with homeowners and property managers. Must own electrical tools, have reliable transportation, and be able to work independently; valid driver’s license required. COI and workers’ compensation are preferred where applicable; trade licenses are preferred depending on local/state requirements. Flexible weekday scheduling with optional weekend opportunities and fast direct deposit payments after completion. Industrial experience is not required; focus is on residential servicing and maintenance opportunities within the company’s contractor network.
Required Qualifications
- Own electrical tools
- Reliable transportation (truck, van, or SUV)
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license
- Active General Liability Insurance (COI)
- Workers’ Compensation preferred where applicable
- Trade license preferred where state/local requirements apply
- 3+ years of residential electrical experience (preferred)
