Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Promote and comply with all company safety policies, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings, and maintain a log of repair and maintenance work. Ensure scheduled checks for spotting malfunctions, maintain records of electrical inventories, and place orders for spare parts. Complete all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager and adhere to safety norms and regulations. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperatures and outside conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights. Travel up to 90% to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- State Journeyman Electrical License
- State Reciprical Licensing
- Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement and volume
- Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Ability to see well (either naturally or with correction)
- Ability to hear well (either naturally or with correction)
- Ability to coordinate the use of eyes, hands, and feet
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stoop, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and climb
- Ability to maintain physical strength and stamina
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and outside conditions
- Ability to work in uncontrolled environmental conditions
- Ability to move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas
- Ability to evaluate information based on measurable standards
- Ability to see details in objects or drawings and recognize slight differences in shapes and shadings
- Ability to visualize objects in three dimensions from drawings
- Ability to keep good balance
- Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift
- Ability to work repetitively and continuously for several hour intervals
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
- Ability to ensure the proper functioning of all electrical units in the facility
- Ability to ensure scheduled checks for spotting any malfunctions
- Ability to comply with all safety norms and regulations of working

- Ability to work directly on the Project Site location
