Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a data center environment, reading blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with local/state/federal electrical regulations, following safety procedures, and mentoring apprentices; travel 20-30% to various data center locations; respond to outages and emergencies; collaborate with data center staff to coordinate tasks; operate and maintain electrical tools and equipment; perform inspections and document work performed and materials used.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as an electrician
- Licensed in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, or Utah
- 1 year of experience in a data center or similar environment preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and codes
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and electrical plans
- Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program
- Valid Driver’s License
