Job Summary
Plan daily activities for a crew of up to six workers and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in new or remodeled facilities. Interpret specifications, read blueprints, and assist with work layouts to ensure productivity meets job schedules. Monitor quality control, coordinate material deliveries, and manage equipment needs while maintaining all documentation and safety reports. Train new workers, conduct performance reviews, and audit safe work practices to comply with company policies. Work a 12-hour night shift up to 50 hours weekly with 90% travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical foreman role
- Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement and volume
- Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Hear well (either naturally or with correction)
- Ability to work at heights and must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
