Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with various functional limitations, designing tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals. Effectively implement and modify treatment techniques based on each patient's unique needs and responses to therapy, using evidence-based practices and current healthcare standards. Regularly consult with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, addressing any changes in patients' conditions promptly. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring comprehensive records that reflect the patient's progress and treatment efficacy. Lead discharge planning processes, ensuring patients and their families understand post-treatment instructions and follow-up care requirements. Participate in professional development opportunities, including staff meetings and training sessions, to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary between $100,000 and $120,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure to practice as a physical therapist in New Jersey
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in rehabilitation, with a strong focus on functional rehabilitation
- Valid CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members
