Licensed Diagnostic Assessor

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using DSM-5 criteria and agency protocols, delivering services in community settings, schools, homes, and offices. Provide diagnostic impressions, treatment planning guidance, and ensure all reports meet established timelines while maintaining compliant EHR documentation. Oversee the Assessment Department by monitoring caseloads, productivity metrics, and scheduling efficiency, coordinating reschedules, and resolving workflow bottlenecks. Mentor assessment staff, support onboarding, and serve as the primary liaison between the team, clinical leadership, and administrative departments. Generate weekly performance reports, track referrals through completion, and implement process improvements to enhance client access. Work collaboratively with intake, billing, and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care and uphold ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field
- Current and active Ohio licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of diagnostic assessment experience
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based assessment practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage workflows, deadlines, scheduling systems, and staff accountability
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, EHR systems, scheduling platforms, and telehealth technologies
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading and supporting a team
- CPR/First Aid certification and de-escalation training (CPI or NCI) completed within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
