Job Summary
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow. Take dental X-rays and digital images as required, while performing instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards. Update patient charts, provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, and support scheduling and patient flow. Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care while following all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Work Wednesday through Saturday from 11:45 to 8:15 with a one-hour lunch, earning $30-$35/hour. Join a Vernon-based practice dedicated to compassionate oral health care and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
