Job Summary
Assist the dentist in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment by utilizing x-rays, educating patients with intra-oral pictures, and providing anticipatory chair-side skills. Maintain a clean, sterile environment by sterilizing instruments per ADA guidelines and preparing patients for efficient care. Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by attending to individual needs and instructing patients on postoperative and general oral health care. Ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA regulations while supporting the dentist's diagnosis after examinations.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school
