Job Summary
Service, repair, and install commercial refrigeration systems, including removing outdated equipment and installing new units. Complete service calls efficiently, maintain clean job sites and vehicles, and communicate clearly with customers while accurately documenting work and invoices. Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation and attend training sessions. Requires a valid Connecticut D-2 license, proven experience with commercial refrigeration equipment, and strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills. Based in New Haven County, CT, this role offers competitive hourly pay starting at $35, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced technicians. Required Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut D-2 license or higher
- Proven experience with commercial refrigeration equipment (ice machines, coolers, freezers, etc.)
- Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum age of 18
- Clean driving record that meets company safety standards
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
- Attend training sessions and maintain a professional appearance
