Job Summary
Licensed Customs Broker with 5+ years of hands-on experience in customs entry processing, HTS classification, and PGA compliance. Manages formal, informal, and Type 86 entries, small parcel and de minimis shipments, and ensures CBP/PGA regulatory compliance. Files entries through ACE, coordinates PGA submissions, reviews commercial invoices, maintains timely clearance, and communicates with importers, carriers, and government agencies. Experienced with FDA, APHIS, Fish & Wildlife, EPA, and Lacey Act requirements; proficient with high-volume e-commerce shipments and consolidated entries. Familiar with Descartes/NETCHB and Magaya/Acelynk brokerage software. Strong attention to detail, analytical/classification skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of customs brokerage experience
- Customs Broker’s License
- Mandarin/English language skills
- Strong knowledge of HTS classification and tariff research
- Experience with formal, informal, and Consolidated Entries
- Experience processing de minimis and small parcel shipments
- Familiarity with PGA filing requirements including FDA, APHIS, Fish & Wildlife, EPA, and Lacey Act
- Strong understanding of CBP regulations and compliance procedures
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience working with brokerage software platforms such as Descartes / NETCHB, Magaya / Acelynk
- Experience with high-volume e-commerce shipments
- Prior experience processing consolidated entries
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and classification skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
