Job Summary
Research and answer calls from clients, underwriters, and third parties while advising on coverage and risk management. Process policy changes, cancellations, and claims inquiries to support sales programs and long-term profitability objectives. Foster relationships with insurance companies and cross-sell existing lines of business. Report any potential errors, omissions claims, or regulatory complaints immediately to the department manager. Maintain punctuality, adhere to safety practices, and follow all company policies and codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Active P&C License in your home state
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge
- Two years successful servicing experience with independent agency (or equivalent)
- Property and Casualty License
- Working knowledge of insurance agency operations, claims handling, coverages, rates, markets, and applicable insurance laws/codes
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products especially those represented through HomeServices Insurance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven automation, time management, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques
