Job Summary
Crisis Counselor (Licensed) — Remote in Oregon emphasizes telephonic crisis support and risk assessment. You will provide empathetic, ethical, and professional crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals to callers, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation. The role requires active Oregon licensure (LPC-A, CSWA, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW) and advanced behavioral-health education (MSW/PsyD/PhD or MA/MS with clinical emphasis). It is remote-first with a private, distraction-free home workspace and reliable high-speed internet. Training is six weeks, with post-training weekend/holiday scheduling. Compensation includes hourly pay plus incentives, plus benefits such as health/dental/life insurance, 401(k) with match, student loan repayment program, PTO, EAP, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure in Oregon in one of: LPC-A, CSWA, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW
- Education in behavioral health: MSW, PsyD, or PhD in behavioral health, or MA/MS in behavioral health with clinical practice emphasis from COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
- Must reside in Oregon and work remotely
- HIPAA compliance and private office space requirements
- Ability to provide telephonic crisis support, risk assessment, and stabilization
- Six-week paid virtual training and ongoing remote scheduling
- Ability to meet weekend and holiday availability
- Excellent multitasking and documentation skills
