Job Summary
Telephonic first responder crisis counselor role delivering compassionate emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization. Build rapport, actively listen, and foster client engagement; assess emotional and behavioral health concerns including risk and safety issues; provide resources, coping strategies, referrals, and safety planning; intervene in emergent situations; document accurately and timely across multiple software systems. Remote work from a private, distraction-free home office with hard-wired internet (minimum 10 Mbps) and HIPAA-compliant practices. Six-week paid virtual training Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST; remote scheduling after training with weekend/holiday availability required. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- MSW
- PsyD
- PhD in behavioral health field
- MA/MS in behavioral health with clinical practice emphasis from COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE-accredited program
- Active PA licensure in one of PSW,LPC,LCSW,LP
- Reside in PA (Pennsylvania residency)
