Job Summary
As a Crisis Counselor, provide telephonic first responder support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, stabilization, and resource referrals. Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and deliver compassionate, solution-focused care for callers with a range of emotional and behavioral needs. This remote role requires a private, distraction-free home office with robust internet and adherence to security standards; weekend availability and participation in structured onboarding/training are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field, OR MA/MS in a behavioral health field with a COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
- Licensure must reside in MN and include one of: LMHC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW
- Licensure active and in good standing
- Remote work with Minnesota residency required
