Job Summary
Licensed Crisis Counselor provides telephonic crisis intervention, risk assessment, and stabilization services to callers. Roles include empathetic, ethical support; building rapport; assessing emotional and behavioral health concerns; providing resources, coping strategies, referrals, and safety planning; and documenting in clinical systems. Remote, HIPAA-compliant home office required with hard-wired broadband (≥10 Mbps) and no frequent outages. Six-week paid virtual training, remote scheduling after training, and weekend availability. Requires advanced behavioral health degrees (MSW, PsyD, PhD or MA/MS with COAMFTE/CACREP/CORE accreditation) and PA licensure (PSW/LPC/LCSW/LP) in good standing. Required Qualifications
- MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field, OR MA/MS in a behavioral health field with clinical practice emphasis from COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
- Licensure must reside in PA and hold one of the following: PSW, LPC, LCSW, LP
- Licensure active and in good standing
- Location requirements: Remote, Pennsylvania residency required
