Job Summary
Provide thorough consultations, haircuts, styling, chemical treatments, and related services tailored for senior residents in a safe, welcoming environment. Offer gentle, patient care considering mobility and comfort, while educating residents on age-appropriate hair maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary salon space in compliance with State Board Guidelines. Stay current on classic and current hair techniques including perms, roller sets, and teasing. Build meaningful relationships while maintaining a warm, professional presence within the community. This part-time role requires no weekends or evenings, offering a 50% commission-based pay structure for a supportive, purpose-driven team dedicated to uplifting seniors through personalized care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Cosmetology License
- Minimum of 3 years' licensed experience in cosmetology
- Proficiency in haircutting, styling, and chemical services
- Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring, empathetic demeanor
- A genuine desire to uplift others through service and connection
- Must be available for daytime hours (no nights or weekends)
