Job Summary
Conduct speech and language evaluations, write compliant reports, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse communication needs. Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate strategies into the classroom. Maintain accurate documentation adhering to district, state, and federal guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and support skill carryover beyond therapy sessions. This full-time, school-based role is part of the exceptional student education (ESE) team within a Florida school district.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Department of Health SLP License or eligibility for licensure
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education procedures
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
