Job Summary
Licensed Clinician provides diagnostic mental health assessments and trauma-informed, evidence-based individual, family and/or group therapy and crisis intervention to clients. Also provides case management services, develops treatment plans, monitors progress, and follows up; assists clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation; coordinates use of other WellPower programs and outside resources; facilitates medication/medicinal needs coordination with psychiatrists and nurses; maintains accurate clinical records; participates in team/department activities and supervisory sessions; potential supervision of interns and clinicians in licensure track; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT Licensed, Licensed Psychologist or license eligible
- At least three years’ experience working with individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges
- Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM – 5
- Must have a clear understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality and personal boundaries
- Ability to navigate an electronic medical record and utilize technology effectively
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Certified in EMDR (preferred)
- Certified EMDRIA Consultant (preferred)
