Job Summary
Conduct direct psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy for individuals with developmental disabilities under Clinical Director supervision. Perform clinical assessments to identify psychosocial factors and develop individualized treatment plans, while delivering individual and group sessions that promote independence. Provide consultative services to the Trans-Disciplinary Team, families, and direct care staff on behavior intervention programs and case management referrals. Collaborate with specialty disciplines to monitor program implementation and ensure adherence to NJ Board of Social Work Examiners regulations, HIPAA, and Bancroft policies. Follow state-approved emergency procedures and crisis intervention techniques at all times.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year experience working with youth and I/DD
- Master's Degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field
- A license to practice independently in NJ including LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Masters Level therapist licensed to practice in NJ including LSW and LAC who will achieve full independent licensure in the timeframe required by the appropriate licensing board and is practicing under the supervision of NJ independently licensed therapist
- Supervision must be in accordance with corresponding licensing board regulations
