Job Summary
Initiate daily Slack communications to coordinate licensed clinicians during crisis shifts, providing real-time staffing support via telehealth or audio for assessment, intervention, and safety planning. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex cases, acting as a sounding board to evaluate risk and guide decision-making while maintaining a calm, trauma-informed presence. Liaise directly with community partners such as hospitals and law enforcement when supervisor-level representation is requested, ensuring collaborative responses and documenting all interactions in the EHR. Manage mandatory callback lists, escalate safety concerns to leadership, and offer feedback on systemic barriers or training needs. Maintain professional composure during high-stress encounters with agitated or unpredictable individuals while adhering to agency protocols and confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Active clinical license in the state of Colorado (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Colorado's Behavioral Health Administration Crisis Professional Curriculum completed
- Minimum of 2 years of crisis intervention or mental health experience
- Strong knowledge of suicide assessment, safety planning, and trauma-informed care
- Strong knowledge of agency protocols
- Previous supervisory or on-call experience
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other electronic health record systems
- Experience working with community partners such as law enforcement, hospitals, and schools
