Job Summary
Licensed Clinician role in a senior-care setting with autonomy similar to private practice: perform initial assessments, provide psychotherapy addressing residents’ mental health needs, and lead or participate in an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. You’ll manage your own caseload and schedule, handle patient documentation and facility communications, and stay current with Medicare and commercial insurance documentation. On-site clinical provider working with residents and their families, focusing on emotional, social, and psychological needs, while collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and facility staff. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Valid LICSW/LMFT/LPC license in WV
- Two years of counseling and therapy experience
- Knowledge of CMS, Medicare, Medicaid
- Experience in nursing home/ hospital facility setting
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong documentation skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to manage caseload and scheduling
- Excellent communication with patients, families, and facility staff
