Job Summary
The Licensed Clinician provides clinical supervision to Counselors and other staff, offers direct clinical services including crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, and family therapy to patients as required. The role involves assisting clinical staff in treatment plan development, conducting case conferences, leading therapy sessions, and overseeing patient case management in collaboration with social services and community providers. Critical competencies include leadership, judgment, and communication skills. Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling, an independent license from NYS, and possess significant experience in substance use disorder treatment and in supervisory roles.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- Minimum five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with OASAS regulations and those of other relevant bodies
Desired Qualifications
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing, preferred
