Job Summary
Provide individual therapy to adult clients in an outpatient pain clinic and conduct weekly psychoeducational class sessions for the Functional Restoration Program. Perform assessment and treatment planning for active caseloads, including initial assessments, case management, and group psychotherapy for individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical pain. Partner with the clinical team to examine treatment opportunities, participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, and refer clients to other modalities as needed. Document all client care in the EMR system while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) OR California Licensed Psychologist
- Experience in assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain conditions
- Experience leading processing groups and/or psychoeducational groups
- Experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Neuro Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-oriented interventions
- Trauma background with ability to do EMDR
- Familiarity working with chronic pain/trauma population
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience with Trauma patients
- Experience working alongside first responders
- Experience with working with chronic pain/trauma population
