Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) on a virtual platform with Headway. This role supports clinicians in launching or expanding private practices by enabling credentialing, accepting insurance, and seeing insured clients through Headway’s network. Responsibilities include credentialing for free in multiple states, maintaining compliance, and working within Headway’s ecosystem that emphasizes in-network care, access to Medicare Advantage and Medicaid plans, predictable bi-weekly payments, built-in EHR features, and access to CEUs via Headway Academy. Candidates must be fully licensed (LCSW/LICSW/LCSCW) with a valid NPI number and malpractice insurance; Headway notes that they cannot support professionals who aren’t fully licensed at this time.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or higher
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent (LICSW, LCSCW)
- Fully licensed in applicable states
- NPI number
- Malpractice insurance
- Ability to credential for free in multiple states
- Willing to join Headway network and work virtually with insurers (in-network with Medicare Advantage/Medicaid)
- Experience or ability to operate a private practice within a telehealth/virtual platform
