Job Summary
Provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families experiencing mental health and addiction issues through intensive outpatient services. Deliver group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, and casework services while communicating professionally with patients, families, visitors, and staff. Manage blended medical and psychosocial crises precipitated by illness or medical procedures. Requires active LCSW licensure, a Master's degree in Social Work, three years of psychiatric/medical social work experience, and current Basic Life Support certification. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from a C.S.W.E. accredited school
- Active LCSW Licensure within the state of practicing
- Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work preferred
