Job Summary
Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and Government agencies. Independently assess psychosocial functioning of patients and families to formulate treatment plans, identifying problems, strengths, and coping skills. Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide treatment to diverse individuals regarding acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses. Implement treatment modalities for psychiatric, medical, and social problems while independently providing counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, groups, couples, and families. Provide consultation services to staff regarding psychosocial needs and treatment compliance. Participate in professional peer review case conferences and research studies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Graduate from a School of Social Work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Possess a minimum experience of two years within the last three years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
