Job Summary
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers to identify, triage, plan, and manage primary behavioral health services for patients with overlapping physical and behavioral needs. Provide assessment, therapeutic treatment, referral, support, education, and skill-training through individual settings, in-person, or via tele-health. Focus on addressing specific behavioral changes to improve physical, social, and mental health outcomes for diverse communities. This role requires a Master's or Doctoral degree (LCSW/LMFT/Ph.D/Psy.D) with an active California license and experience in community health centers. Compensation ranges from $91,336 to $114,860.80 depending on licensure. Open Door Community Health Centers serves Humboldt and Del Norte Counties, offering loan repayment eligibility, mentorship, and free monthly online therapy for employees.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree (LCSW/LMFT/Ph.D/Psy.D)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist in California (active and in good standing)
- Experience in similar position in a community health center or outpatient mental health clinic
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, play therapy, and family-centered approaches
