Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and administer validated tools for members with chronic musculoskeletal pain complicated by psychosocial factors. Deliver structured Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP), provide Pain Neuroscience Education, and support return-to-work readiness through behavioral activation. Collaborate with nurse case managers, primary care physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and review program outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation within the care management platform. This fully remote role supports behavioral health interventions within a specialty MSK Care Management Program for a self-funded employer population.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
- Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in chronic pain management, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, occupational health, or related behavioral health settings
- Training and/or experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for chronic pain, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for pain, or similar evidence-based interventions
- Experience using electronic health records or care management platforms
- Comfortable providing telephonic and telehealth-based clinical services
Desired Qualifications
- Licensure in a Social Work Licensure Compact state
- Experience working for a health plan, TPA, managed care organization, or care management company
- Occupational health, disability management, workers' compensation, or return-to-work coordination experience
- Bilingual Spanish skills
- Certified Case Manager (CCM) designation
