Job Summary
Conduct on-site psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups at the Haskell Indian Health Center in Lawrence, KS, utilizing DSM-5-TR criteria for biopsychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Screen clients for suicidal ideation, abuse, and neglect; develop safety plans and coordinate referrals for high-risk cases. Maintain accurate electronic health records, completing documentation within 24 hours of service, and participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and quality improvement projects. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Requires a Master of Social Work (MSW), current unrestricted Kansas or Missouri LCSW license, and two years of post-licensure psychotherapy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker III (LCSW)
- Master's Degree, Master of Social Work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
- Current unrestricted license in the state of Kansas and or Missouri
- Minimum of two years of post-licensure professional experience
- Actively provided psychotherapy within the past two years
- Tier II favorable adjudication as determined by the IHS
- Must secure a Tier II favorable adjudication as determined by the IHS
- Credentialing, privileging, and background clearance
- Adherence to HHSAR 304.1301
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Publication (PUB) Number 201-2
- Personal Identity Verification (PIV) of Federal Employees and Contractors
- OMB implementation guidance for personal identity verification
- Contact or control over Indian children
- Completion, sign, and submit the Addendum to OF-306, Child Care & Indian Child Care Worker Position form
- No history of being found guilty of or pleading nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes
- Abide by all IHS Privacy Practices
- HIPAA compliance
- Security and privacy of patient SPII and PII
- Complete all required HHS, IHS, and HIHC annual trainings
- Complete all required annual CEUs to maintain licensure
- Must provide a copy of the license and verification of license from the state of licensure, for credentialing and privileging at the Haskell Indian Health Center
- Maintain current LCSW license, privileges, CEU requirements, and mandatory government trainings (HIPAA, Privacy, Security, Suicide Prevention)
- Uphold professionalism and competency standards specific to clinical license
- Maintain License / BLS current at all times
- Provide credentials to Haskell Clinic Human Resources before expiration
- Comply with all clinic infection control, security, and occupational safety requirements
- Upheld Standards & Guidelines of accrediting organizations, national, state, and local regulating agencies
