Job Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the Geriatric Emergency Department provides psychosocial and clinical support services to older adult patients and their families. This role includes conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing care plans, advocating for patient needs, and providing mental health counseling and crisis intervention. The LCSW collaborates with healthcare teams and community resources, and is tasked with managing expectations regarding patient care and providing educational support programs. Candidates must have a master's degree in social work, relevant licensure, and at least two years of clinical experience.
