Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides counseling, evaluation, intervention, and case management to youth and families within school-based health center settings. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing clinical treatment plans, performing crisis and suicide risk assessments, coordinating healthcare, community support, and financial resources, and educating patients/families about disease treatment plans and follow-up care. Must work within the SBHC calendar year (August–May) and maintain confidential client records using electronic health records (preferably NextGen or similar). Requires strong communication, crisis management, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and a Louisiana LCSW license. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday; employment is exempt/FLSA with pay based on hours worked during SBHC open days.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Louisiana.
- BLS (American Heart Association)
