Job Summary
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide direct clinical services in adolescent and adult mental health within primary care and school-based clinics. Delivers individual, family, and group therapy; conducts psychosocial assessments; develops and updates treatment plans; coordinates care and referrals; maintains timely EHR documentation; participates in crisis intervention as needed; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited program
- Valid New York State LCSW license
- 5 or more years of social work experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (advanced or native Spanish language speaker), preferred
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training
- Current CPR and Infection Control certifications
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with youth and families
- Excellent clinical documentation and professional writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records
- Effective communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors affecting patient health
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment
- Sound judgment and ability to make timely decisions in high-pressure situations
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
- Participation in recredentialing and annual training requirements
