Job Summary
Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities; collaborate with licensed clinicians to develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care across behavioral health and healthcare needs, and offer crisis prevention and intervention. Deliver services to individual clients or groups, train staff on triggers and de-escalation techniques, and maintain open communication with facility staff and administration. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to support residents’ mental health and daily functioning, with potential opportunities for transition to providing counseling services. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA, regulatory guidelines, and Eventus WholeHealth standards.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for a license to practice in the state of practice
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (or equivalent)
