Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist providing recovery-oriented support and case management for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Works with licensed clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans, provide linkage and crisis prevention services, and train facility staff on triggers and de-escalation techniques. Collaborates with Resident Care Coordinators and facility teams, maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA, and adheres to Eventus WholeHealth policies and regulatory guidelines. Opportunities may arise to transition to providing counseling services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy
- Eligibility for a license to practice in the state of practice
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred or required by role
