Job Summary
Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist to join Eventus WholeHealth, providing recovery-oriented support and case management to residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities include consulting with licensed clinicians, developing individualized care plans and treatment options, facilitating linkage and crisis prevention services, delivering services to individuals or groups, and training staff on client triggers, de-escalation techniques, and treatment plans. Must adhere to HIPAA and regulatory standards, maintain professional communications with facility staff, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive behavioral health care. Qualifications require a Master’s degree in counseling or marriage and family therapy with eligibility for licensure in the practicing state; licensure as an LPC or LMFT is expected. Knowledge areas include behavioral health interventions, care coordination, and ethical standards; essential skills include data analysis, training delivery, effective written and verbal communication, and collaboration within health-care teams.
