Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for opioid-dependent adults while completing patient admissions and orientations. Perform Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, prepare and maintain Person-Centered and Crisis Plans for Medicaid/Medicare clients, and upload all related documents to the LME/MCO provider portal. Research and re-submit denied authorizations, track monthly eligibility via NCTRACKS, and monitor claim submissions. Compile accurate weekly reports of billable services. Work Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm as part of the Greenville Treatment Center team dedicated to providing medically sound recovery services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (M.A) in Psychology, Counseling or, Social Work or related field
- Associates Degree in Counseling or related field
- LCAS-A or LCAS credentials
- Credentialing with NCTRACKS
- Credentialing with the designated LME/MCO
- Registration with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Board
- Mandated continuing education hours to uphold licensure
- At least 2 years of continuous sobriety (if in recovery)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with the team
- High level of professional ethics
