Job Summary
Manage end-to-end adjudication of regulated insurance claims for retail, electronics, appliances, and furniture, conducting investigations, reviewing documentation, and issuing compliant coverage determinations within defined SLAs. Interpret policy language and underwriting guidelines to handle complex, high-exposure files requiring licensed authority and independent judgment. Identify fraud indicators, coordinate repair assessments, and communicate complex decisions clearly to customers via phone, email, or chat. Maintain audit-ready documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and reduce leakage. Hold an active U.S. state Adjuster License in good standing and work remotely in a fully distributed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. state Adjuster License in good standing
- 2+ years of experience handling regulated insurance claims
- Strong knowledge of digital commerce and retail supply chain operations
- Familiarity with repair networks
- Solid understanding of jurisdictional insurance regulations and fair claims handling practices
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment
- Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment
- Proficiency in claims management systems and digital documentation platforms
- Collaborative mindset
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Desired Qualifications
- Multi-state or reciprocal licenses
