Licensed Child and Adolescent Therapist—LCSW or LPC

Job Summary
Conduct behavioral-health intakes, diagnostic assessments, and individual therapy for children and adolescents while treating anxiety, depression, ADHD-related concerns, and behavioral issues. Provide family therapy, parent guidance, and evidence-based parent coaching, utilizing standardized screening tools to monitor symptoms and conduct safety-risk assessments when indicated. Develop individualized treatment plans, complete accurate clinical documentation, and coordinate care with pediatricians and outside providers in accordance with payer requirements and Virginia telehealth policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted and independent Virginia LCSW or LPC license
- Master's degree in social work, counseling or a related behavioral-health field
- Type 1 NPI and current CAQH profile, or willingness to establish and maintain them
- Willingness to complete payer credentialing and enrollment through KidsWatch Pediatrics
- Professional liability coverage as required by the practice
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly afternoon or evening schedule
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual care
- Only independently licensed LCSWs and LPCs will be considered for this initial position
- Residents, supervisees and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible at this time
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of experience working with children or adolescents preferred
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges and behavioral concerns
- Experience with safety assessment and crisis procedures
- Outpatient pediatric or integrated-primary-care experience
- Training in CBT, parent-management training, play-based interventions or family therapy
- Experience supporting children with autism or developmental differences
- Bilingual skills
