Job Summary
Repairing and restoring motorized vehicles and equipment to original condition utilizing tools and methods (fibreglass, welding, sanding, bumping, grinding); restoring vehicles for painting (taping, priming, paint mixing) and painting with a spray gun; estimating damages and preparing reports; operating vehicles and equipment and conducting road tests; maintaining cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work areas; instructing and guiding other employees and trainees; ensuring compliance with health and safety programs and legislation; performing related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency
- Must possess a current Certificate of Qualification 310B (Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer)
- Must hold and maintain a current valid and lawful Class G driver’s licence in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act
- Should have knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and knowledge of the hazards associated with work
- Must complete a post-offer agility test to assist the successful candidate in completing the position tasks safely and to aid in minimizing injuries on the job
