Job Summary
Licensed Blaster position on construction sites responsible for performing blasting activities under supervision, ensuring pre-blast inspections and seismograph setup, monitoring blast patterns, and documenting explosives usage. Reports results to Blasting Supervisor or Project Superintendent, maintains safety compliance, coordinates material requests, and supports field accounting. Requires two years of explosives/drilling experience, Blaster I and II training, a valid Blasting Certificate where required, CDL with hazmat endorsement and ability to transport explosives across state lines, and strong communication skills. Must be able to travel out of town/state and pass ATF screenings; physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work on uneven terrains in varying weather. Salary DOE plus company vehicle; location: New Haven, VT; on-site (in-person) work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree
- Minimum of two years experience working with drills and explosives
- Blaster I training
- Blaster II training
- Valid Blasting Certificate where required
- CDL with hazmat endorsement and company-qualified driver
- good driving record
- Out of town/state travel
- pass ATF screenings
- understanding of blasting techniques

- physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work on uneven surfaces
