Job Summary
Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families (HIV/HEP C/ STI populations) in a full-time, on-site role in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, crisis intervention as needed, documentation in EMR, and client advocacy to coordinate services. Requires a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, and state licensure (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT) with valid driver’s license; background checks required. The role emphasizes delivering compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic services and supporting clients toward improved mental and emotional well-being, under supervision and in coordination with the Director of Behavioral Health and Midland Specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
- Current with all state licensing requirements, including LCSW, LMHC and LMFT
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical or community setting
- Experience working with co-occurring populations (HIV, chronic health conditions, mental health, and substance use) preferred
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check
