Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial assessments, preliminary diagnostic impressions, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services for patients within the Stark County Jail multidisciplinary team. Collect patient data via interviews, case histories, psychological tests, and observations to evaluate problem causes and determine therapeutic approaches or specialist referrals. Deliver therapeutic crisis intervention, emergency services, and short-term therapy as required while adhering to DSM-5 criteria. Consult with behavioral health practitioners and related staff to support therapeutic and casework performance. Prepare comprehensive treatment and follow-up care programs. Requires Master's degree in Social Work or related field, current state mental health license, and CPR certification. Weekend PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- Current state Mental Health Professional license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
