Job Summary
Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and case management services to patients in a correctional facility as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Collect patient information through interviews, case history, and psychological tests to evaluate data and determine therapeutic approaches. Prepare treatment and follow-up care programs while demonstrating knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for appropriate interventions. Consult with behavioral health practitioners and related staff regarding therapeutic and casework performance. This role includes a 3x12s night shift schedule with on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- Current state Mental Health Professional license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
