Job Summary
Licensed Mental Health Counselor position at Quinault Community Health in Aberdeen, WA. Responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring quality of mental health services, reviewing treatment plans and notes for regulatory compliance, collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, guiding clinical intervention strategies and group therapy dynamics, ensuring HIPAA and documentation adherence, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with billing and other departments to improve quality of care, conducting intake interviews and diagnoses per DSM-5, delivering individual/family/group therapy for co-occurring disorders, developing treatment plans for dual diagnoses, and providing necessary documentation for service delivery. Requires Master’s degree in a mental health discipline and licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LMSW/LMFTA) with WA state registration; minimum of 1 year mental health experience; strong knowledge of confidentiality regulations, HIPAA/PHI, DSM-5, and clinical/administrative procedures. In-person role based in Aberdeen, WA with QCH Annex location; full-time with comprehensive benefits and license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a mental health discipline
- LMHC, LMFT, LMSW, or LMFTA
- One (1) year experience in mental health treatment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI requirements
- Knowledge of confidentiality regulations (42 CFR part 2)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State
- Ability to work in cross-cultural environment
- In-person ability to work with patients
- Washington State Driver’s License and insurable
