Job Summary
Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician provides direct clinical services including assessment and treatment planning, supportive counseling and therapy, and coordination of care for clients with complex psychiatric, substance use, and co-morbid medical conditions. The role leads care coordination, conducts progress monitoring and documentation, utilizes motivational interviewing, develops resource inventories, facilitates case conferences, and connects clients with community and managed care resources. Maintains EMR records, participates in trainings and 24/7 on-call coverage, and acts as liaison with community agencies to support recovery and social determinants of health.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Family Therapy or related degree required
- Licenses and Certifications: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Marriage and Family Therapist required
- CASAC certification preferred
- Minimum of two years of mental health work experience providing direct services to clients/members with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and/or chronic medical conditions
- Effective oral/written/interpersonal communication skills required
- Bilingual skills may be required as determined by operational needs
- Basic computer skills required
Desired Qualifications
- LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or Marriage and Family Therapist license
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Family Therapy or related field
- Minimum of two years of mental health direct service experience
- Bilingual skills may be required
- Effective oral/written/interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
