Job Summary
Licensed Behavior Consultant provides behavior consultation services and collaborates with families, caregivers, and school teams to develop and monitor treatment plans that support children with diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety, Depression, and developmental delays. The role requires applying CASSP principles, writing Functional Behavioral Assessments and treatment plans, transferring skills to parents, advising Behavioral Health Technicians, and ensuring effective team communication, with responsibilities including monthly team meetings, outcome measurement, and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in a human service-related field (Social Work, Special Education, Counseling, or Psychology)
- Active license as a Behavior Specialist (BSL), Professional Counselor (LPC), Social Worker (LSW), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health direct services to children and youth.
