Job Summary
Licensed Beauty Advisor provides beauty services (makeup, waxing, and related services) and guides clients through Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, staying current on beauty trends and product knowledge. Responsibilities include driving sales and rebooking services, delivering personalized client service, maintaining licensure and health/safety standards, promoting inclusiveness and teamwork, and upholding Sephora standards. Flexible scheduling supports nights, weekends, and holidays; requires an active license to perform services in the state. Experience in retail/hospitality/service (1-3 years) and strong product knowledge are preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential. The role is part-time with defined weekly hours and a focus on delivering a positive shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service environment
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
- Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
- Team player with collaborative, goal-oriented mentality
- Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
